1. Evaluating Loan Applications: Credit Assessment: Analyse applicants' financial information, including credit scores, income, and debts, to determine their ability to repay a loan.  Risk Analysis: Assess the risk associated with each loan application and make recommendations to the credit department.  Documentation Review: Verify the accuracy and completeness of loan applications and related documents.  2. Guiding the Loan Process: Consulting with Applicants: Meet with potential borrowers to understand their financial needs and goals, explaining different loan options and their terms.  Providing Financial Advice: Offer guidance on loan products, interest rates, and eligibility criteria, helping borrowers make informed decisions.  Managing Loan Applications: Facilitate the entire loan application process, from initial application to final approval, ensuring timely and efficient processing.  Maintaining Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all loan applications, communications, and transactions.  3. Ensuring Compliance: Adhering to Regulations: Ensure all loan activities comply with relevant federal and state regulations and lending guidelines.  Staying Updated: Keep abreast of changes in lending regulations and industry best practices.  4. Building Relationships: Developing Referral Networks: Establish relationships with referral sources, such as real estate agents and financial advisors, to generate new leads. Maintaining Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support.  5. Other Responsibilities: Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell other financial products and services to existing clients.  Problem Solving: Address and resolve any loan-related issues or concerns that may arise.  Reporting: Prepare reports on loan activity and performance for management.
