Linux Administrator -DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Role Summary: • The role requires of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, with a strong background in implementing CI/CD pipelines. • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including the setup of build/release pipelines, configuration management, and release management. • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). • Strong scripting skills, preferably with PowerShell or Python, for automation tasks. OS level. • Experience with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps and version control systems (Git). Responsibilities: 1. Azure DevOps Pipeline Management: • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for diverse projects. • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes. 2. Release Management: • Manage release cycles and coordinate releases with development and QA teams. • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues in a timely manner. 3. Environment Configuration: • Configure and manage different environments (development, testing, production) to ensure consistency and reliability. 4. Monitoring and Optimization: • Implement monitoring solutions for applications and infrastructure. • Continuously optimize and enhance DevOps processes for efficiency and scalability. 5. Collaboration and Communication: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and system administrators. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on DevOps activities. 6. Documentation: • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for DevOps processes and configurations.
