We are seeking a highly competent Transmission Line (TL) & Bay Execution Assistant Manager to manage the end-to-end execution of transmission line and substation bay works for utility-scale Solar PV projects. The role demands a professional with strong expertise in transmission infrastructure, hands-on site execution experience, and proven ability to deliver high-voltage evacuation systems safely, on time, and to international quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and executing TL and bay works , ensuring seamless grid connectivity for solar power plants. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution & Management Manage execution of EHV/HV transmission lines and substation bays (33 kV to 400 kV or higher, as per project scope). Oversee survey, route alignment, foundation works, tower erection, stringing, bay installation, and equipment erection . Ensure availability of resources (materials, manpower, equipment) as per construction schedule. Coordinate with EPC, OEMs, transmission utilities, and project teams to align TL and bay works with plant readiness. Manage site logistics, construction sequencing, and work fronts to avoid delays. Quality & Compliance: Ensure execution adheres to IS/IEC/IEEE standards, CEA guidelines, and utility specifications . Conduct stage inspections for tower foundations, concrete, reinforcement, earthing, gantry erection, busbars, insulators, breakers, isolators, CT/PT, LA, and protection systems . Monitor stringing sag-tension, earthing resistance, and bay integration testing. Prepare and maintain QA/QC records, method statements, ITPs, and ensure audit compliance. Safety & Regulatory: Implement and enforce strict EHS protocols for TL and bay works, including working at height, live-line safety, and lifting operations. Coordinate with Regulatory Assistant Manager for statutory Approvals and with contractor for ROW (Right of permits), and clearances. Ensure adherence to grid synchronization and utility interconnection requirements. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong expertise in EHV/HV transmission line and substation bay execution (33–400 kV).
