Lending Specialist

As a Loan Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end loan processing operations to ensure timely and accurate disbursal of approved loans. You will monitor documentation for compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Your role will also involve evaluating credit reports and identifying potential risks, as well as coordinating with credit and underwriting teams to flag high-risk cases. Supporting in identifying early warning signs of loan defaults will be crucial in your responsibilities. Identifying process bottlenecks and recommending improvements to reduce Turnaround Time (TAT) will be a key aspect of your role. You will be required to develop and implement operational efficiency initiatives to streamline processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, credit, legal, and tech teams to ensure a smooth loan lifecycle. Handling escalations and complex customer cases in collaboration with internal teams will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring adherence to RBI/NBFC/bank guidelines and internal SOPs for regulatory compliance will be essential. You will be responsible for preparing and supporting internal/external audits to maintain compliance. Maintaining Management Information Systems (MIS) and dashboards for loan operations, as well as analyzing portfolio performance and suggesting corrective actions, will be part of your daily tasks.
