Legal Trainee

Role Overview: You will be a proactive and detail-oriented Candidate supporting the Legal & Compliance team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to various aspects of corporate law, compliance monitoring, contract management, and regulatory matters, contributing to the legal framework governing corporate operations. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting commercial contracts, NDAs, MoUs, and service agreements. - Support in corporate law research and preparation of legal notes, summaries, and case briefs. - Help maintain and update the contract management database and ensure compliance with renewal timelines. - Assist in regulatory compliance tracking and filing requirements under applicable laws and company policies. - Conduct legal due diligence and research on corporate and regulatory developments. - Coordinate with internal teams and external counsels for ongoing legal and compliance matters. - Prepare and maintain documentation related to statutory filings, board resolutions, and corporate governance. - Support in policy drafting, risk assessment, and compliance audits. Qualification Required: - Pursuing LL.B. / B.A. LL.B. from a recognized law school. - Strong understanding of corporate law, compliance frameworks, and contract management. - Good legal research and drafting skills. - Familiarity with Companies Act, Contract Act, and regulatory filings. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
