Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end project management of factory construction projects from concept and design through to handover and commissioning. Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities. Monitor site activities to ensure alignment with design specifications, safety regulations, and project milestones. Manage procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services in collaboration with the procurement team. Role Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Costing to lead the cost management function across our defense and aerospace programs. The ideal candidate will oversee product and project cost estimation, pricing strategies, cost control, and financial analysis to ensure accurate bidding, profitability, and compliance with defense standards. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Cost Management Lead the development and implementation of robust costing frameworks for defense and aerospace projects. Drive accurate cost estimation for new products, components, systems, and complex assemblies. MBA or equivalent preferred. 10–20 years of experience in business development roles in defense, aerospace, or homeland security sector. In-depth understanding of Indian and international defense procurement frameworks (DPP/DAP, GFR, offset policy, etc.). Proven track record of winning large defense/aerospace projects. Strong relationships with key government stakeholders, defense PSUs, and private OEMs. Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Ex-armed forces background (especially in procurement, technical services, or planning roles) is highly desirable. Experience with exports, foreign OEMs, and defense attach networks. Familiarity with UAVs, weapon systems, avionics, radar, communications, or aerospace platforms is a strong plus.
