Role Overview

The Head of Human Resources will serve as a strategic business partner to the leadership team, responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that drive organizational growth, operational efficiency, and employee engagement. This role demands a visionary HR leader who blends strategic insight with operational excellence to build a high-performing, future-ready organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Design and execute NIBE’s HR strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on growth, operational excellence, and profitability. Serve as a trusted advisor to the management on all matters of human capital, culture, and organizational effectiveness. Lead change management initiatives supporting business expansion and diversification.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Drive talent acquisition across leadership, technical, and operational levels, ensuring a diverse and high-calibre workforce. Implement workforce planning and succession strategies to meet current and future business demands.
  • Organizational & Leadership Development: Build leadership capability through structured development programs, coaching, and succession planning. Champion a performance-driven culture with robust goal-setting and review systems.
  • Employee Engagement & Retention: Lead engagement and culture initiatives to enhance morale, belonging, and productivity. Design retention programs focused on career progression, recognition, and well-being.
  • Compensation, Benefits & Compliance: Develop and maintain competitive compensation and benefits structures that attract and retain top talent. Ensure adherence to all statutory, labour, and corporate governance requirements for a listed company.
  • Employee Relations & Governance: Promote transparent communication, fair employee relations, and consistent policy enforcement. Manage risk and compliance across all HR functions, maintaining the company’s reputation and integrity.
  • HR Team Leadership: Mentor, empower, and develop the HR team to operate as strategic enablers of business success. Embed a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the HR function.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master is preferred.
  • Minimum 20 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within manufacturing or engineering sectors.
  • Deep understanding of HR best practices, labour laws, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven expertise in talent management, organizational development, and leadership coaching.
  • Demonstrated success in leading transformation and building scalable HR frameworks in fast-growing organizations.
