Company Overview

Nibe Space is building Indias first integrated Earth observation and SAR satellite constellation with a focus on high-resolution imagery, advanced analytics and secure geospatial solutions for government and enterprise customers. The company is developing a fully in-house digital platform for satellite tasking, imagery delivery, data processing and customer access. This role will be central to building the technology foundation that supports our constellation, data services and long-term product roadmap.

Role Overview

The Full-Stack Engineer will lead end-to-end development of Nibe Spaces digital platforms and internal tools. The role requires ownership across the full software lifecycle including architecture, backend systems, frontend interfaces, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, DevOps and production maintenance. The position is suited for a strong generalist with the ability to build scalable systems in a fast-paced, deep-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Product Engineering

Own design and development of platform architecture, backend services, frontend interfaces and API integrations

Build secure, scalable and high-availability systems for imagery access, tasking workflows and data delivery

Integrate processing pipelines, storage systems and third-party services supporting satellite operations

Backend Engineering

Develop robust microservices, data pipelines and processing modules

Build APIs for imagery search, tasking, authentication and customer delivery

Manage databases, schema design, indexing and performance optimisation

Frontend and User Experience

Build responsive, intuitive interfaces for internal operations and customer portals

Implement dashboards, visualisation modules and workflow tools

Ensure clean UX for tasking, data access, account management and analytics

Cloud and DevOps

Manage deployments on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

Build CI/CD pipelines, containerised environments and automated testing

Ensure system reliability, monitoring, logging and incident response readiness

Security and Compliance

• Implement strong security standards across authentication, access control and data protection
• Ensure compliance with government security guidelines related to satellite data and geospatial services

Collaboration

• Work closely with product, satellite operations, imagery processing and analytics teams
• Translate technical requirements into system designs and development plans
• Support cross-functional technology decisions and long-term platform architecture

Qualifications and Experience

• B Tech, BE or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Three to eight years of experience as a full-stack engineer or full-cycle engineer
• Strong command of backend technologies such as Python, Node.js, Go or Java
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular
• Strong understanding of cloud services, containerisation and CI/CD systems
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis or Elasticsearch
• Ability to design scalable architectures and solve complex technical problems
• Experience in geospatial systems, imagery pipelines or aerospace platforms is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with security practices for data platforms is a plus
