Commissioning Engineer

Role & responsibilities

*Must have minimum 3+ years of experience in Commissioning.

*Must have experience in WHRB Boiler.

1. Inspection of site installation as per drawings and P&ID, preparation of punch list, commissioning schedule.

2. Must have knowledge of Waste Heat Recovery Boiler Refractory Dry Out, Alkali Boil out, steam Blowing, safety valve floating activities

3. Attending of daily meeting with client.

4. Co-ordinate and follow up with HO team for getting the resolution for site discrepancies, pending material to achieve completion of project as per the schedule.

5. Coordinate with site construction team to complete the pre-commissioning and commissioning punch list.

6. Handling of Vendors and utilizing their visit properly for commissioning and troubleshooting the problems faced in vendor equipments.

7. Familiar in Commissioning and troubleshooting of all kinds of rotary equipments in any kind of boiler (Pumps, fans, fuel feeders, fuel pumps etc.,)

8. Familiar in Commissioning and troubleshooting of Waste Heat Recovery Boilers

9. Familiar in WHRB boiler operation control logics

10. Operating and fine tuning the operation parameters of boiler to achieve optimized output so that ensure customer satisfaction.

11. Troubleshooting knowledge on performance issues of boiler operation and its auxiliary equipments.

12. Preparation of protocols / documents for smooth handing over of projects to customer.

13. Conduct performance test as per standard of boiler with accessories.

14. Provide warrantee services to clients after commissioning.

15. In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards applicable to industrial plants.

1. Inter department interfacing skills

2. To understand the job on hand, the design and detailed specifications, and provide inputs on the commissioning aspect of the job.

3. Continuous interaction all through the commissioning activity, making progress report and communicating the inputs from the customer, get the necessary support from the departments to ensure timely problem solving, and delivery of the job.

4. To provide feedback for product/ process improvements.
