Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Legal Manager to join our team at Equitas Small Finance Bank.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage and oversee all legal aspects of mortgage lending operations.
Develop and implement effective legal strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide legal support and guidance on business transactions.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform business decisions.
Ensure timely completion of legal documentation and contracts.
Provide expert advice on legal matters related to mortgage lending and banking operations.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of Inclusive Banking, SBL, Mortgages, and Legal Management principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex legal information.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to mortgage lending and banking operations.
Experience working with legal software and systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.
