Legal Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Executive to support the company’s legal and compliance functions. The role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, assisting with regulatory compliance, coordinating with external counsel, and ensuring that business operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.

• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements, employment contracts, and customer contracts.
• Maintain and manage the company’s contract repository.
• Ensure all contracts align with company policies and legal standards.
• Provide day-to-day legal support to internal teams (HR, Finance, Sales, IT, Operations).
• Assist in interpreting laws, regulations, and policies that impact the business.
• Support litigation management by coordinating with external legal counsel.
• Monitor compliance with statutory requirements under Companies Act, IT Act, Data Protection, Labour Laws, IPR, and sector-specific regulations.
• Support corporate governance activities including board resolutions, filings, and ROC compliance.
• Identify legal risks and provide solutions to mitigate exposure.
• Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulatory updates, and case precedents.
• Prepare legal opinions, briefs, and compliance reports.
• Ensure timely submission of legal and regulatory documents.
• Maintain case records, assist in preparing documentation for arbitration or litigation.
• Liaise with external law firms and legal advisors as needed.
