Job Description

You are a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Counselor sought by a real estate company to provide support to the legal team. Your strong understanding of real estate laws, contracts, and compliance regulations will be essential in offering legal advice, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and ensuring adherence to legal requirements in property transactions and company operations. Key Responsibilities: - Provide legal guidance on real estate transactions, property acquisitions, and lease agreements. - Prepare Booking Applications and Sale Agreements as per the customer Advance Bookings which are project specific. - Address the customers Legal queries and provide clarifications that the project is free from any litigations. - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. - Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with real estate laws and regulations. - Represent the company in legal proceedings, dispute resolution, and negotiations. - Coordinate with internal teams, external legal counsel, and regulatory authorities. - Maintain and organize legal records, contracts, and case files. - Handle correspondence related to legal matters, including notices, agreements, and compliance reports. - Assist in due diligence for property transactions and investment opportunities. - Stay updated with changes in real estate laws and compliance requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in a legal advisory role, preferably in the real estate industry. - Strong knowledge of real estate laws, property transactions, and regulatory compliance. - Excellent legal drafting, reviewing, and research skills. - Proficiency in handling litigation, dispute resolution, and compliance matters. - Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in working with real estate firms, builders, or legal consultancies handling property transactions. - Familiarity with arbitration, mediation, and legal proceedings related to real estate.
