Job Description

As a Legal Business Analyst at our company, your role will involve supporting business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. You will collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes. Your responsibilities will include identifying areas for improvement, providing recommendations in operational processes, developing and implementing operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks, and maintaining operational efficiency. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing reports and presentations on operational performance, communicating findings to internal senior stakeholders, identifying industry trends, and implementing best practices in banking operations. Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness will also be expected from you. Key Responsibilities: - Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. - Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes. - Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations in operational processes. - Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency. - Develop reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders. - Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations. - Participate in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications Required: - Minimum graduation required. - Banking operations experience or Procurement Industry experience. - Strong analytical skills and ability to consider wider objectives. - Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. - Understanding of regulatory requirements, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework, and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards. - Problem-solving skills along with a solution-oriented approach. - Outstanding stakeholder management skills. - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. - Ability to identify, address, and escalate key risks and issues. - Excellent time management and personal organization skills. - Team player but self-reliant and able to work proactively. Desirable Skills/Good to have: - Commerce graduate. - Knowledge of Procurement (P2P) cycle and operations. - Coupa Knowledge. - Portfolio Management experience. - Experience in reporting.
