Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our Strategic Communication team. This role leverages deep legal and regulatory expertise to advise clients on disclosure-sensitive communication, regulatory narratives, and stakeholder messaging during complex transactions and corporate events.

The ideal candidate will have strong grounding in corporate law, securities regulations, or M&A practice, with the ability to translate legal complexity into strategic communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on communication strategies aligned with regulatory requirements, disclosure norms, and legal sensitivities.
• Partner with legal counsels, investment bankers, and corporate teams to ensure communication compliance during transactions.
• Develop disclosure-sensitive communication materials including regulatory filings narratives, press releases, and stakeholder briefs.
• Support clients navigating complex legal situations including litigation, regulatory investigations, and enforcement actions from a communication standpoint.
• Translate legal and regulatory developments into clear, stakeholder-appropriate messaging.
• Advise on communication protocols, disclosure timelines, and information management during material transactions.
• Build frameworks for managing communication around board transitions, governance changes, and compliance matters.
• Partner with the StratComm team on M&A communication, restructuring narratives, and reputation mandates with legal dimensions.
• Support crisis communication efforts involving regulatory, legal, or compliance challenges.

Candidate Profile

• 7–15 years of experience

  in corporate law, M&A, capital markets, securities law, or regulatory practice (law firm, in-house, or regulatory body).
• Strong understanding of SEBI regulations, Companies Act, stock exchange requirements, and corporate governance frameworks.
• Experience advising on transactions, regulatory filings, or compliance matters for listed or large unlisted entities.
• Exceptional analytical and written communication skills.
• Ability to simplify legal complexity into clear, compelling narratives for non-legal audiences.
• Prior exposure to working with investment banks, boards, and C-suite executives is preferred.
• Interest in transitioning from pure legal practice to strategic communication and advisory.

• LLB / LLM from a reputed law school; Ivy League equivalent / CS qualification
