Job Summary

Learning & Development Specialist

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify development needs, build capabilities, and drive learning culture across the organization, with a focus on financial technology, domain expertise, leadership development, and Design Thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Needs Analysis:

    Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to identify skill gaps and learning needs across functions, with emphasis on fintech, leadership, and innovation capabilities.
  • Capability Building:

    Design and execute targeted learning interventions and competency-based development programs, including leadership and managerial development tracks.
  • Instructional Design & Content Creation:

    Create engaging learning content using instructional design principles and adult learning theory. Develop programs across formats—e-learning, instructor-led, and virtual training.
  • Program Management & Delivery:

    Manage end-to-end program logistics including scheduling, coordination, communication, and delivery. Facilitate high-impact sessions across diverse learner groups.
  • Early-Career Programs:

    Design and own onboarding and foundational learning programs for early-career talent, including management trainees and B-school hires.
  • Evaluation & Reporting:

    Implement learning evaluation strategies (e.g., Kirkpatrick model, surveys, assessments) to track program effectiveness. Present data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Governance & Compliance:

    Ensure L&D initiatives are well-structured, aligned with business priorities, and executed with excellence and consistency.
  • LMS & Technology Management:

    Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure content accessibility, reporting accuracy, and learner engagement. Explore new L&D tech tools to enhance experiences.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • L&D Expertise:

    Deep understanding of learning frameworks, instructional design models, and adult learning principles.
  • Business Acumen:

    Ability to align learning strategy with business objectives; familiarity with fintech, domain-specific knowledge, and Design Thinking is a plus.
  • Facilitation & Communication:

    Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse learners; excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Technology & Analytics:

    Proficiency in LMS platforms and digital learning tools. Ability to analyze learning data to measure impact and drive improvements.
  • Program Management:

    Proven ability to manage multiple learning projects with attention to detail and strong follow-through.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Postgraduate degree in Human Resources.
  • 9–12 years of post-MBA experience in IT services or product organizations.
  • Experience designing and delivering L&D programs using various learning modalities, with self-paced learning as a key delivery method.
  • Hands-on experience in learning needs analysis, strategy design, and instructional design.
  • Exposure to Design Thinking and certification in behavioral psychometric tools is a plus.
