Job Summary:

The Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist is responsible for identifying training needs, designing learning programs, and implementing professional development initiatives to enhance employee skills, productivity, and performance. This role involves collaborating with various departments to align training strategies with business goals and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Needs Analysis:

  • Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations.
  • Work closely with managers to identify skill gaps and recommend training solutions.

Learning Program Development & Implementation:

  • Design, develop, and implement training programs (classroom, e-learning, blended learning, workshops).
  • Develop training materials, manuals, and interactive learning resources.
  • Ensure all programs align with business objectives and employee career growth.

Facilitation & Delivery:

  • Conduct training sessions, workshops for employees at various levels.
  • Ensure engagement and effectiveness in training sessions.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance tracking.
  • Revise and update training content based on employee needs and business changes.
  • Provide reports on training outcomes and suggest improvements.

Employee Development & Leadership Training:

  • Support leadership and career development initiatives.
  • Design programs for high-potential employees and succession planning.
  • Promote a learning culture by encouraging self-paced and continuous learning.

Technology & Learning Management Systems (LMS):

  • Manage the companys LMS and ensure proper documentation of training records.
  • Explore and integrate new digital learning tools and methodologies.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with HR, department heads, and senior leaders to support business goals.
  • Partner with external training providers when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in Learning & Development or a similar HR function.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and public speaking skills.
  • Proficiency in instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and LMS administration.
  • Ability to analyse data and generate training reports.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
