Job Description

The Learning and Development Executive position at our Solar company in Coimbatore requires someone with 3 years of experience in corporate training or Learning and Development functions. Your main responsibility will be to design, implement, and manage internal staff training and skill development programs, focusing on technical training, soft skills enhancement, and upskilling employees. You will not be involved in recruitment or general HR tasks. Your role will involve conducting skill gap analyses, maintaining the skill matrix, and supporting strategic learning initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Your key responsibilities will include conducting training needs analysis by assessing skill matrices across departments, identifying skill gaps through surveys and interviews, and coordinating with department heads to gather training needs. You will also be responsible for planning, designing, and delivering technical and behavioral training programs, organizing training sessions, workshops, and seminars, and developing training calendars to ensure timely execution of training plans. In addition, you will coordinate and monitor skill development programs for technical staff, collaborate with external trainers for advanced technical training, and ensure alignment of training programs with current and future project needs. You will play a crucial role in creating and executing long-term Learning and Development strategies focused on productivity and retention, aligning training goals with business objectives, and evaluating training ROI to contribute to the continuous improvement of training quality. Monitoring and reporting will be a significant part of your role, where you will maintain detailed training records, attendance, and feedback, prepare reports on training effectiveness and improvements, and use metrics to track individual and departmental skill improvements over time. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and presentation skills, strong organizational and planning ability, proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems, and the ability to work independently with various internal stakeholders. Requirements for this role include immediate availability, being a local candidate in Coimbatore, and proficiency in Tamil, English, and Malayalam (knowledge of Hindi is an added advantage).
