Field of activity:

For our new office in Hyderabad, we are seeking an experienced Head of Unit to drive the development for the new GUI of our trading platform F7 and ensure reliable system testing. This includes managing a team of talented developers and testers, coordinating with internal stakeholders across various locations and covering seamless collaboration with external suppliers.

Tasks / Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Unit, ensure stability, reliability, and performance of the team.
• Develop project plans, define scope, manage timelines and resource allocation for the new trading GUI.
• Lead, mentor and guide the software development and system test team in Hyderabad. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders across different locations. Build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks for the new trading GUI.
• Ensure the software development and testing processes adhere to quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the software development team working with React, AG Grid, and Material UI. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues, code reviews, and ensuring best practices are followed. Contribute to and review system test plans and strategies, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

Qualifications / Required skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, including developers and testers.
• Experience in project management, preferably in a software development environment.
• Experience in frontend development using React, Material UI, and AG Grid.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and external suppliers.
• Experience in testing methodologies and techniques, including both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with financial markets and trading systems preferred.
