Lead User Interface Designer

As a visionary Lead User Interface Designer (UI) at Spinach Experience Design, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the digital experiences crafted by our team. Your primary responsibility will involve steering the design of visually captivating and highly functional user interfaces that are in line with both user requirements and business goals. As a leader, you will oversee a group of designers, collaborate with various teams, and ensure the delivery of intuitive and captivating designs that bring joy to users. Your qualifications: - Profound expertise in Design Vision Development - Strong abilities in Creative and Strategic Thinking - Proven track record of an Ownership-driven approach - Skilled in Client and Stakeholder Management - Experience as a Team Lead - Proficiency in Post Launch Analysis - Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design - Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software - Impressive portfolio showcasing skills in designing responsive web and mobile applications - In-depth understanding of design systems, principles, visual hierarchy, and typography - Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers - Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts and offer feedback - Previous experience in leading and guiding design teams Nice to have qualifications: - Ability to conduct workshops - Familiarity with motion design and prototyping tools like After Effects or Principle - Prior exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices - Understanding of design systems and their implementation - Background in industries such as FinTech, EdTech, or SaaS - Certifications or training in Design Thinking or User-Centered Design methodologies Key Responsibilities: - Drive the UI design vision and strategy for the projects - Lead and mentor a team of designers, nurturing a culture of innovation and collaboration - Ensure designs are pixel-perfect, visually appealing, and consistent with brand guidelines - Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to ensure smooth implementation of designs - Collect and integrate feedback from stakeholders and users into design refinements - Conduct design reviews and offer constructive feedback to maintain high standards - Work alongside QA teams to validate design implementation - Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to inspire innovative solutions - Advocate for design best practices and user-centered approaches across all teams Design System Development: - Comprehensive understanding of the purpose, components, and advantages of design systems - Familiarity with modular design principles and atomic design methodologies - Ability to create, establish, and maintain a scalable design system ensuring consistency across all products - Regular updating of components to align with evolving brand and user requirements - Experience working with design tokens for cross-platform consistency - Familiarity with token management tools - Proficiency in versioning design systems to support evolving business needs - Expertise in ensuring scalability for large-scale, multi-product ecosystems To apply, kindly send your resume to careers@spinachexperience.design.,
