Must-Have

• Design Leadership & Strategic Thinking
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in digital design (web, mobile, platform) across B2C, retail, and media industries.
• Proven experience building and scaling design systems, processes, and standards across a global organization, tailored to local markets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multicultural, distributed teams across global time zones.
• Experience leading design thinking workshops, client conversations, and executive presentations.
• Strong T-shaped profile breadth across various design functions with ability to lead end-to-end experience design initiatives.
• Deep expertise in UX, UI/Product Design, and Service Design methodologies.
• Ability to synthesize user research, business goals, and tech constraints into scalable design strategies.
• Skilled in localisation, accessibility, and understanding cultural nuances in design for global audiences.
• Comfort with Design Thinking, Lean UX, Agile/Scrum, and rapid prototyping.
• Experience using Figma, Jira, Adobe Creative Cloud, and usability testing platforms.
• Strong understanding of DesignOps maturity, tooling, and workflows.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and SAP Hybris.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Design, HCI, or related field from an accredited university.
• Certified in HFI, CUA, or similar user experience certifications.

Good-to-Have

• Exposure to Generative AI, with interest and hands-on experience in experimenting with GenAI platforms
• Experience working on emerging tech platforms such as AI, AR/VR, Spatial Computing.
• Background in consumer-first organizations and deep understanding of retail/media business models.
• Experience in sales/presales design conversations or influencing stakeholders to sell design as a business solution.
• Worked with Global US-based customers, managing expectations, and delivering high-creative impact work.
• Strong creative storytelling and visual communication abilities to convey complex ideas simply.
