visionary Lead User Interface Designer (UI)

Must haves qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

• A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in designing responsive web and mobile applications.

• Deep understanding of design systems, principles, visual hierarchy, and typography.

• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.

• Strong communication skills to articulate design ideas and provide feedback.

• Experience leading and mentoring design teams.

Nice to have qualification:

• Ability to take workshops
• Familiarity with motion design and prototyping tools like After Effects or Principle.
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
• Understanding of design systems and their implementation.
• Background in industries such as FinTech, EdTech, or SaaS.
• Certifications or training in Design Thinking or User-Centered Design methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall:

• Drive the UI design vision and strategy for the projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Ensure designs are pixel-perfect, visually appealing, and consistent with brand guidelines.
• Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users into design iterations.
• Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high standards.
• Collaborate with QA teams to validate design implementation.
• Keep abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to inspire innovative solutions.
• Advocate for design best practices and user-centered approaches across teams.

Design System Development:

• Deep knowledge of the purpose, components, and benefits of design systems, including how they improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
• Familiarity with modular design principles and atomic design methodologies.Have knowledge and expertise to create, establish and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistency across all products.
• Regularly update components to align with evolving brand and user needs.
• Experience working with design tokens (e.g., colors, typography, spacing) for cross-platform consistency.
• Familiarity with token management tools
• Experience with versioning design systems to support evolving business needs.
• Expertise in ensuring scalability for large-scale, multi-product ecosystems
