Role & responsibilities

Strategy and Leadership

  • Assist the Head HR in aligning recruitment activities across all three institutions with annual staffing plans and meeting the institutions hiring goals.
  • Contribute to workforce planning by identifying future talent needs and maintaining relevant hiring data.
  • Ensure recruitment processes align with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and diversity objectives.
  • Participate in periodic recruitment policy reviews and recommends enhancements to workflows and procedures.
  • Contribute to the implementation and refinement of recruitment tools, platforms, and systems.

Operations and Execution

  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and assessments.
  • Partner with Department Heads to define role requirements and ensure alignment with institutional needs.
  • Maintain accurate records in recruitment systems for effective tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate interview logistics, gathers feedback, and supports final selection processes.
  • Ensure timely updates to candidates and stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
  • Adhere to recruitment SOPs, institutional policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Handle all candidate communication with professionalism and safeguards confidentiality.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for audits, legal compliance, and internal reporting.

People and Engagement

  • Serve as a key point of contact for candidates, ensuring a professional and engaging recruitment and onboarding experience.
  • Liaise with hiring managers and department/institution heads to provide regular updates on hiring progress and candidate pipelines.
  • Support internal and external employer branding through communication and visibility across job portals, career pages, and social media.
  • Represent the institution at job fairs, campus hiring events, and recruitment outreach programs as required.
  • Collaborate with Institute leadership, HR colleagues to ensure a consistent onboarding experience and a smooth transition into the organization.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 4-8 Years of recruitment experience, preferably within the education sector and multi-campus organizations.
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management, especially with senior leadership and department heads.
  • Exposure to onboarding program design and execution, preferably in the education or service sector.
  • Experience in employer branding, campus hiring, and engagement initiatives is an advantage. Functional Skills
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Experienced in use of job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed) and social media platforms for sourcing.
