Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead ServiceNow Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Security Operations (SecOps) and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) modules along with ITSM module. This role involves leading client engagements, designing and getting implemented ServiceNow solutions, and ensuring alignment with security and compliance best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong functional consulting skills, a solid understanding of ITIL v4 processes, and proven experience in delivering enterprise-grade ServiceNow implementations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Engagement & Consultation
- Lead client workshops to assess current security and compliance processes.
- Gather and analyze business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Translate client requirements into effective ServiceNow functional & technical solutions.
2. Solution Design & Implementation
- Design and get implemented ServiceNow SecOps and IRM solutions aligned with best practices.
- Get configured/aligned modules such as Vulnerability Response, Security Incident Response, Risk Management, and Compliance Management.
- Design & get implemented custom integrations to meet client-specific security & risk management requirements.
3. Project Management & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementations, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and scrum masters/project managers.
- Mentor junior consultants and oversee development activities.
4. Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute test plans to validate solution functionality.
- Identify and get resolved issues during testing phases.
- Lead pilot training & User Acceptance Testing during UAT phase.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
5. Training & Support
- Conduct training sessions for different user personas including end-users, service & process owners and administrators etc.
- Provide post-implementation support and assist with feature adoption.
- Assist clients in adopting new features and functionalities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Functional Skills
- Strong expertise in ITIL /ITSM ServiceNow functional consulting
- Proven experience in implementing ServiceNow SecOps, IRM and ITSM modules
- Deep understanding of security operations, risk management, and compliance frameworks
- Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and create detailed process flows, functional specs, and test cases
- Skilled in technical documentation and proficient with MS Office tools (especially Visio )
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of working in dynamic environments with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work across all organizational levels and lead teams effectively
Education: Bachelor s (mandatory) or Master s degree (MBA is preferred) in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: At least 10 years of overall experience in ServiceNow functional consulting with at least 5+ years on SecOps & IRM modules (mandatory) along with ITSM module
Certifications: ServiceNow CIS (SecOps & IRM), CSA and ITIL Intermediate/Expert (preferred).
