Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned React Lead with strong expertise in React fundamentals, application architecture, and modern frontend development practices. This role involves leading a team of React developers, owning the architecture and design decisions, reviewing code, managing branching strategies, and overseeing deployments.

The ideal candidate is not only technically strong but also able to mentor developers, enforce coding standards, and solve complex problems while ensuring smooth collaboration with backend, DevOps, and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of React developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
  
• Define and enforce best practices in React development, architecture, and performance optimization.
  
• Drive the application architecture design and ensure scalability, maintainability, and security.
  
• Manage branching strategies and ensure efficient collaboration across distributed teams.
  
• Oversee frontend build pipelines, deployments, and environment configurations.
  
• Review pull requests and ensure adherence to coding standards, TypeScript usage, and testing strategies.
  
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend teams to deliver high-quality features.
  
• Solve complex performance, rendering, and integration issues.
  
• Guide developers in state management strategies, secure API integrations, and third-party library adoption.
  
• Implement strategies for unit testing, integration testing, and automated UI testing.
  
• Work with MUI, Tailwind CSS, and other UI frameworks to build dynamic, modern, and responsive interfaces.
  
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes to optimize UI development time and delivery cycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React.js.
  
• Proven experience as a Lead or Technical Lead managing React developer teams.
  
• Expert-level understanding of React fundamentals, state management (Redux, Context, Recoil, Zustand, etc.), and modern patterns.
  
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, modular design, and performance optimization.
  
• Hands-on expertise in TypeScript.
  
• Strong experience in code reviews, branching strategies (Gitflow, trunk-based, etc.), and deployments.
  
• Proficiency with unit testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Vitest).
  
• Hands-on experience with MUI and Tailwind CSS for building scalable design systems.
  
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Good to Have

• Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering.
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  
• Exposure to cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and distributed team collaboration.
