Job Summary

As a Lead Quality Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of software products by leveraging your expertise in automation testing and agile methodologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and execute test strategies that align with business goals. Your contributions will directly impact the companys mission to deliver innovative solutions in the education domain.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive test strategies to ensure product quality and reliability.
Oversee the development and execution of automated test scripts using Playwright Selenium and TestNG.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing processes into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and Maven.
Provide expertise in TypeScript and Java to enhance test automation frameworks.
Utilize RestAssured for API testing to ensure robust backend services.
Manage and track defects using Jira ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies as a Scrum Master to promote agile practices and continuous improvement.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives and deliverables.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality and user experience.
Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a culture of quality and excellence.
Conduct performance testing and optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Engage in regular code reviews and provide feedback to enhance code quality and maintainability.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve testing methodologies.

Qualifications

Possess strong technical skills in Playwright Jenkins TypeScript RestAssured Java TestNG Jira Selenium Scrum Master Maven and PL/SQL.
Demonstrate experience in the education domain is a plus.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Show proficiency in agile methodologies and practices.
Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in software quality engineering.

Certifications Required

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager
