Role Overview

Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute

  manual test cases

  for web and mobile applications.
• Perform

  functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing

  .
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to understand requirements.
• Ensure end-to-end product quality across all releases.
• Work with basic automation scripts and tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) for API or UI tests.
• Create and maintain testing documentation including test plans, test reports, and defect logs.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and release validations.
• Provide suggestions for improving QA processes and product performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience

  in manual testing.
• Strong understanding of

  SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies

  .
• Hands-on experience in:
• Writing detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test reports
• Web application testing
• Mobile app testing (Android/iOS)
• API testing (using Postman or similar)

• Basic knowledge of automation

  using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Experience with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, ClickUp, etc.).
• Good understanding of SQL for basic DB validations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environment.

Good to Have

• Experience in fintech or BFSI domain.
• Exposure to performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
