Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Lead - Pop RFS to oversee the end-to-end Ready For Service (RFS) journey across India. The role involves deep expertise in tools like CYGNET, ADRS, NIAM, TACAS, and Remedy, with a strong focus on enhancing network performance, ensuring First Time Right (FTR) execution, and aligning with technical standards. The ideal candidate will also manage OEM partnerships and lead team training and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • RFS Management: Lead and manage the complete RFS lifecycle from planning to go-live, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
  • Tool Expertise: Utilize and guide the team on tools such as CYGNET, ADRS, NIAM, TACAS, and Remedy for RFS validation, issue tracking, and network assurance.
  • Vendor & OEM Coordination: Liaise with OEMs including ECI, Ciena, Nokia, and Cisco to ensure network components are delivered, integrated, and configured to specifications.
  • Performance & Configuration: Validate network configurations against deployment plans, ensuring quality and compliance with manufacturer checklists and internal standards.
  • FTR Monitoring: Drive a First Time Right (FTR) culture by enforcing pre-checklists and tracking FTR vs. non-FTR outcomes daily. Implement continuous improvement plans.
  • Training & Development: Design and execute technical training programs to upskill the operations team on evolving tools, standards, and best practices.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Circle Operations, Deployment, Planning, NOC, and OEMs to ensure seamless RFS execution and service delivery.
  • 24/7 Operations Oversight: Manage a rotating shift schedule to support round-the-clock operations and issue resolution.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in network operations or RFS execution.
  • Hands-on experience with telecom operational tools like CYGNET, ADRS, NIAM, TACAS, Remedy.
  • Strong understanding of transport and IP network elements.
  • Proven experience managing relationships with OEMs (Ciena, ECI, Nokia, Cisco).
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and coordination skills.
  • Team leadership and training experience is a must.
  • Flexible to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.
