Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Mechanical Engineer located in Pune. The Lead Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the DFM review (design for manufacturability), development of test fixtures,, overseeing computer-aided design (CAD) operations, managing projects, and leading engineering activities. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design
Experience and Expertise in DFM
Experience & Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools like Solidworks for 3D modeling, 2D drawings and Mechanical simulations
Experience working on Plastics and Sheet metal designs.
Support supplier engagement, including part reviews, tool design feedback,and mold validation activities
Expertise in injection molding and related techniques
Coordination with vendors
Stakeholder Management skills
Test fixture development experience
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience in the medical device industry is a plus
