Lead - IT Infrastructure

Purpose/Objective

Responsible for creating and implementing IT operating model and managing IT operations including infrastructure and cyber security at site in line with overarching IT strategy and overall framework. Work towards ensuring provision of seamless IT services and solutions in line with ITIL guidelines while effectively partnering with business and achieving customer satisfaction Manage application life cycle and adhere to SLA management with partners. Ensure IT compliance and manage audit requirements

Key Responsibilities of Role

Overall IT Strategy Contribute to overallIT strategyand roadmap formulation by evaluating ideas and providing inputs from the Development, Security & Operations (Dev Sec Ops) perspective; Actively participate in IT Strap and support in prioritization of IT projects and initiatives in line with business requirements Definethe strategic objectives and annual plan for the Dev Sec Ops function keeping in mind the present/ future requirements of the group and business; Chart out the future road map for the verticals and set goals for team Formulateand maintain IT capital and operating budgets in addition to budgeting forspecial initiatives and projects for the vertical Develop the strategy and management of IT systems and security including development, sourcing plans, operating model while ensuring alignment with the corporate and business strategy IT Research and Innovation Drive improvement of existing technology by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and sponsoring ongoing research Continuallyscan thechanging technologicallandscape, studybest practicesand introducenew and innovativesolutions at site level in line with group IT team. SteerPOCs inassociation withpartners forvaried ITapplications with adoption of rapidly evolving/ relatively mature technologies. Organize events and join in forums to interact with different technology solution providers and evaluate if new solutions can be introduced at group and business levels Integrated Operations Management & Operations Review Enforce IT operations policy in alignment with theITIL framework and in adherence to overallIT operating model and guidelines established by the group Define protocols and design tools and templates to monitorIT systems, application and security operations at the BU level Drive end-to-end IT servicesupport and IT servicemanagement in line with the ITIL framework guidelines Systems, Application & Networks Performance Manage availability of the site IT services and solutions; Continuously monitor performance and capacity of IT systems with the objective to identify scope for improvement and facilitate it for systems at site. Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot data center operations, applications and offer guidance at site level Maintain oversight and conduct periodic reviews to ensureadherence to defined SLAs; Record non-adherences and facilitate prompt resolution Service Desk & Incident Management Implement problem resolution system to facilitate seamless IT operations at site; Maintain oversight and ensure timely resolution of IT service,solutions and operations inquiries/ requests and security breach incidents; Act as a finalpoint of escalation for resolution of issues Support in systems and applications upgradation actions without disturbance to business. Security Operations Enforce defined security operations management protocols and policy (including Application security management, system hardening, compliance management, security patchmanagement, VAPT, IS awareness) in alignment with the ITO contract scope &SLAs Implement processes for maintaining security of IT solutions and services in line with standard operating procedures Drive routine security procedures such as patching, managingaccess rights, malware protection,or vulnerability testing; Manage the implementation of information security programs at the site. Drive implementation of information security, privacy and data protection controls (people/ process/ technology); Implement identified new levels of controls to reflect changesinfactors such as threat levels Monitor security compliance and implement recommendations of audit findings at site. Business Continuity &Disaster Recovery Plans Evaluate, identify and highlight the need for Disaster Recovery processes (subset of BCP)for projects/ initiative and new processes in alignment with the requirements stated by the business andregulations Lead implementation and maintenance of Crisis Management and Disaster recovery plans in line withoverall Business Continuity Plans;Undertake preventive, directive, and coercive measures to sustain availability, backup and recovery of IT Systemsand applications

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline. Experiences: Minimum 10-15 years of overallexperience with around 7 years of relevant experience in managing Information Technology operations; At least 5 years of experiencein a leadership role at large or mid-sized organizationwith global operations isdesired Preferable to have worked in Ports and logistic industry and having functional business knowledge. Experience in strategic planning and execution; Strong experience in implementing business solutions Experience in managing large PORT IT infrastructure and applications (TOS). Experience across a range IT discipline including infrastructure and data center technologies, application management and service delivery. Experience of negotiating contracts and managing service agreement with technicalpartners Experience in managing developing multi-million-dollar department/organization operating and capital budgets and effectively planning and managing activities within the established constraints of approved budgets Sound exposure to IT research & technologies tools andtechniques and knowledge sharing Must have exposure of managing large scale transformation projects and seasoned understanding of change management Experience of managing complexstakeholder interactions and leading discussions with top management Experience of managing technical teams and working in cross functional set up; Possesses ability to coach and guide teams
