Role Description

Workday HRIS Consultant (Talent Acquisition & Talent Management)

Job Responsibility

The position is in the

HR Functional area

and serves as a liaison between business and IT by translating complex business needs into effective application technology solutions. The role requires proficiency in both technical and business acumen, with the ability to assess the implications of application configurations and technology enhancements on current and future business environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and influence HRIS business application requirements to address complex and varied business process needs.
  • Design, develop, and maintain HRIS solutions to support business processes.
  • Develop HRIS project tasks, contribute to business project plans, identify SMEs, and coordinate resources across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with development staff to ensure requirements are accurately incorporated into system design and testing.
  • Consult with business partners on HRIS applications, implementations, and integrations of technology.
  • Act as a subject matter resource to end-users, providing solutions to issues and guidance on HRIS applications.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Workday certification is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–4 years of functional Workday experience, with strong expertise in Talent Acquisition and Talent Management modules.
  • Experience in at least one end-to-end Workday implementation project.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Workday HCM, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management modules.
  • Exposure to BIRT Reporting, HR data migration, and/or integrations projects.
  • Strong consulting skills with the ability to handle customer expectations effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with knowledge of HR analytics and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both functional and management-level stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms, program management tools, and MS Office.
