Overview

Seeking an energetic and knowledgeable Lead Generation Executive to help drive business expansion by identifying and qualifying SMEs with significant turnovers for IPO readiness, as well as investors actively seeking IPO opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a fair understanding of financial markets, IPO processes, and the unique funding needs of SMEs preparing for public offerings. The role blends research, relationship building, and strategic outreach to secure high-quality leads for merchant banking, capital raising, and investment services in the IPO ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and profile SMEs with turnover and growth prospects suitable for IPO, leveraging industry databases, financial news, regulatory filings (e.g., DRHPs), and digital platforms.?
  • Proactively reach out to SME owners, CFOs, and financial decision-makers to explain SME IPO readiness services and gauge their interest level in public listing.
  • Identify and qualify investors who are interested in participating in SME IPOs, including institutional investors, HNIs, and funds focused on capital markets.
  • Collaborate with financial advisory teams to strategize and coordinate lead-gen campaigns and events targeting IPO aspirants and investor pools.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, webinars, networking events, and financial forums) tailored to SMEs and IPO-focused investors.?
  • Maintain meticulous CRM records of all leads, track engagement, and ensure timely follow-up to nurture leads through the pipeline.
  • Keep up to date with IPO trends, capital market regulations, and SME sector developments to continuously refine targeting and engagement strategies.
  • Provide actionable insights on the SME IPO landscape and investor sentiment for continuous process improvement and campaign calibration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 24 years of lead generation experience in finance, investment banking, capital markets, or financial advisory.
  • Sound understanding of SME business models, IPO lifecycle, and investor behavior in Indian and global capital markets.
  • Proficiency in engaging, communicating, and follow up with clients on voice calls, virtual calls and 121 meetings
  • Proficient with CRM and investor prospecting tools (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or specific capital market databases).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, persuasion, and the ability to build trust with entrepreneurial SMEs and sophisticated investors.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to broadly understand financial documents, market trends, and company fundamentals.
  • Results-driven approach and proven ability to achieve lead targets and KPIs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with merchant banks, IPO advisory, or investment management firms serving SMEs.
  • Exposure to B2B financial product sales or investor relationship management in capital markets.
  • Familiarity with IPO documentation, regulatory compliance (SEBI guidelines), and investor roadshows.
  • Knowledge of new-age lead-gen strategies, including social media, linkedin, webinars, influencer partnerships, and financial content marketing.
