About Data Platforms
Data Platforms is a dynamic collective of product and engineering teams delivering tools and solutions for managing, accessing, and distributing financial data. Our platforms, including LSEG Data Platform and DataScope, support real-time, delayed, and historical data delivery across LSEG and third-party sources.
Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in Java and Python to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to identify issues early, drive improvements, and ensure seamless releases.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Python.

Create and execute test plans, test cases, and regression test suites for web, API, and backend applications.

Implement and maintain test frameworks, tools, and CI/CD pipelines.

Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, collaborating with developers to ensure timely fixes.

Conduct code reviews for automated test scripts to ensure high standards of quality.

Contribute to performance, security, and integration testing as needed.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.

Advocate for best practices in software quality, testing strategies, and continuous improvement.
