This is a full-time on-site role for a Database Administrator, based in Chennai. The Database Administrator will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. Key responsibilities include monitoring database health, managing backups and disaster recovery plans, optimizing queries, and collaborating with development teams to support efficient database usage. The role also requires troubleshooting database-related issues and staying updated with the latest advancements in database technologies.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams to understand
requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Ensure responsiveness, scalability, and performance optimization of applications.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and peer programming sessions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full application stack.
• Follow best practices in software development, coding standards, and version
control (Git/Azure DevOps).
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to sprint planning and
retrospectives.
