What makes the role exciting:

• Build and scale ASBL’s design function from the ground up.
• Shape a unified design language across web, app, dashboards, and internal tools.
• Manage a team of 6 designers who work across ASBL,s suite of products
• High-ownership role defining design culture, principles, and craft standards.
• Influence user experience across the entire customer and internal journey — from discovery to delivery.

You will be the go to person for:

• Building and scaling ASBL’s design function across UI, UX, usability, and system coherence.
• Defining principles, review processes, and a structured but lightweight design system for consistent, intuitive experiences.
• Designing end-to-end experiences across customer-facing and internal execution products.
• Creating wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, prototypes, and user journeys.
• Working closely with product managers and engineers to convert ideas into polished workflows.
• Conducting usability testing, feedback loops, and continuous design improvement.
• Ensuring design excellence across multiple digital touchpoints — desktop, mobile web, native app, internal dashboards.
• Bringing clarity, simplicity, and design discipline to a fast-moving product org.

Qualifications that shine:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent

Experience that counts:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in product design roles with at least 3 years managing designers.

Skills that set you apart:

• Deep foundation in UI/UX systems thinking and cross-platform design
• Ability to build and evolve a design system (principles, tokens, components, usage rules)
• Strong command of modern design tools (Figma preferred) and prototyping workflows
• Data-informed decision making balanced with strong design intuition
• User research, usability testing, and experience-led problem solving
• Ability to collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams
• Structured thinking, visual clarity, and communication excellence

Cherry on the top:

• Built or scaled a design system that multiple teams successfully adopted
• Experience working on internal tools + customer products simultaneously
• Prior experience in real estate, SaaS, prop-tech, or consumer-facing products
