Lead Curriculum Lab Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction and establish best practices for scalable, high-quality lab development.
• Mentor and guide lab developers, serving as the team’s technical expert while ensuring process adherence.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee lab projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with curriculum goals.
• Lead ongoing lab maintenance, including proactive testing and bug resolution.
• Collaborate with curriculum and platform stakeholders to align lab solutions with business priorities and learner needs.
• Drive efficiency and innovation in lab publishing and testing through automation and technical improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of development experience with large-scale data frameworks and Python.
• Proficiency in PySpark, Python, APIs/SDKs, and SQL.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms and workflows (e.g., notebooks, jobs, pipelines).
• Experience with orchestration, CI/CD, and version control tools (Git, job orchestration pipelines).
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and cross-functional team coordination skills.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting production issues and delivering reliable technical support for large-scale learning events with thousands of participants.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with customer/partner education deliverables and hands-on lab platforms.
• Exposure to Machine Learning or Generative AI workflows.
• Ability to design, build, and optimize robust pipelines for batch and streaming data (extraction, transformation, cleansing, integration, and management).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) are a plus.
