Lead - Currency Control Unit

As a Lead - Currency Control Unit in Wholesale Banking Operations, your primary responsibility is to oversee and monitor controls for currency operations across pan-bank branches and CPCs. You will be involved in implementing controls as per approved processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and automating CPC & CSD processes for operational efficiency. Additionally, you will manage cash movements, vendor relationships, service quality, and regulatory reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Implement controls in accordance with approved processes and regulatory guidelines - Automate CPC & CSD processes through process reengineering - Regularly review and monitor CRL of CPCs to optimize cash holding - Identify new Corr. banks/Vendors for cash management in line with TPRM guidelines - Review service quality of CIT vendors and enforce penalties for service level issues - Conduct due diligence of all FOS vendors as per TPRM guidelines - Ensure cash movements at branches comply with RBI/MHA guidelines - Supervise vendor service contracts and ensure timely renewal - Coordinate with RMs and Unit Managers for cash movements - Handle escalations from Business for cash offload/indent request delays - Monitor high cash holding branches and provide reports to Business - Present cash procurement/offloaded dashboard for Senior Management review - Review all BGL accounts of CPCs & CSD from Transaction monitoring perspective - Conduct visits to CPCs & Branches to ensure process compliance - Report all Counterfeit notes at Bank level to RBI, NCRB & FIU-IND - Coordinate with Stakeholders for FNVC cell inputs - Analyze trends of Forged notes detected at Branches/CPCs and update FNVC Committee - Implement all instructions/directions from Regulators/Law Enforcement Agencies - Conduct annual review of BCP documents, SOP & Risk registers for CPC, CSD Qualifications Required: - Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) - Post-Graduation: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.Com) / Master of Arts (MA) With 10 - 18 years of relevant experience, you will be well-equipped to handle the responsibilities of this role effectively.,
