About the Role:
We are looking for a Lead Testing Engineer to anchor our test strategy and execution within the COST team. You will design and implement test plans simulating customer environments, ensure issue resolution, and serve as a technical mentor for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the design and execution of real-world customer scenarios across hybrid environments.
- Build test labs using virtual machines, cloud resources, and physical hardware.
- Reproduce and troubleshoot high-complexity customer issues in close collaboration with support and product teams.
- Define testing strategy and lead test cases development.
- Serve as the go-to technical leader for customer-centric testing and integration validation.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of QA/test engineering experience, with at least 2 in a leadership or mentoring role.
- Deep experience with Linux systems, networking, and test lab environments.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and virtualized environments like VMware.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills across global teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Automation experience in Java and scripting in Bash or Python
- Exposure to cybersecurity, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with DevOps tooling, performance testing, and security testing.
