We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Consultant -Data Engineer to join our data team and help build robust, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining data architecture and systems that support data analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes.
- Develop data integration workflows to collect, process, and transform large-scale datasets from various sources.
- Implement and optimize data storage solutions such as data warehouses, lakes, and marts.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to understand data needs and ensure data availability and quality.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of data systems.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Automate data validation and quality checks to maintain data integrity.
- Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to technical roadmap planning.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, DBT, Luigi).
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), especially data services like Redshift, BigQuery, S3, or Snowflake.
- Proficient in building and maintaining data warehouse and lake architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices for data infrastructure.
