Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Channel Operations Leader to ensure zero breaches in our public channel operations. This key leadership position involves overseeing end-to-end execution by the Tender and SOTC teams, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards. Key Accountabilities/Duties: Operational Excellence: Ensure zero breaches in public channel operations by strictly following standard operating procedures (SOPs). Lead end-to-end execution activities for the Tender and SOTC teams. Governance and Strategy Development: Develop strategies and plans for improved governance and continuously enhance operational processes to meet required standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Keep the Internal Business Committee informed about all Tender and SOTC-related aspects. Solicit suggestions to achieve operational excellence and recommend SOP changes as necessary. Business Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFTs) to create business opportunities from product registration to timely tender participation, managing purchase orders without deviations by establishing robust processes. Procurement Collaboration: Engage with the internal public channel sales team and external procurement bodies to evaluate changes, supporting the tender process with appropriate documentation and technical understanding. Audit Support: Facilitate internal and external audits, implementing required changes in collaboration with stakeholders to maintain a high organizational reputation. Policy Awareness: Stay informed about existing procurement policies and work strategically with CFTs to engage authorities for necessary business adjustments. Insight Sharing: Assist the leadership team by providing insights that inform decision-making related to public channel business. Skills and Capabilities Needed: Project Management & Governance: Strong project management skills are essential for overseeing the end-to-end CoEx process (Tender and SOTC) and ensuring compliance with SOPs among all stakeholders. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead effectively, especially in change management and process improvements, while influencing CFTs. Risk & Change Management: A proactive mindset to identify and mitigate risks, driving change management initiatives within the team to minimize deviations. Communication & Influence: Excellent communication skills to update the Internal Business Committee on CoEx matters and mobilize CFT efforts in support of projects and business goals. Strategic Thinking & Collaboration: Serve as a single point of contact for public channel sales leaders, supporting strategic decision-making and aligning proposed initiatives with overall business strategy. Business Support: Ensure clarity in technical evaluations of all submitted bids and the availability of products in government accounts through collaboration with the public channel sales team. Essential Qualifications: A graduate or postgraduate degree in management is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience leading a customer-facing team in the public channel. Prior experience in project management. Desirable Qualifications: Comprehensive understanding of federal and state procurement policies. Proven experience in overseeing Tender and SOTC operations. Familiarity with regulatory, quality, and operational frameworks in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
