About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead – Business Development Executive to spearhead our sales efforts and strategic outreach across South India. This role is ideal for individuals confident in sales, relationship building, and passionate about promoting drone technology in agriculture and allied sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development activities across South India to expand market presence
• Present and promote drone solutions to farmers, agri-businesses, and institutions
• Identify, develop, and manage dealership and partnership opportunities
• Assist clients in availing government schemes (e.g., Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, SMAM, Drone Promotion Schemes)
• Oversee client onboarding, documentation, eligibility validation, and follow-ups
• Conduct product demos, training programs, and awareness initiatives across regions

• Manage lead generation via cold calls and convert them into business opportunities
• Maintain CRM systems and report on pipeline, performance, and targets
• Coordinate pre- and post-sales support to ensure seamless client experience
• Monitor competitor activity and contribute to business strategy and market positioning

• Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Engineering, or related field
• 1–4 years of experience in sales or business development
• Proficiency in client communication, negotiation, and cold outreach
• Familiarity with agriculture-focused government schemes is an advantage
• Willingness to travel frequently within South India

Preferred

• Background in rural/agri-market engagement or government liaison
• Passion for drone and agri-tech innovation
• Leadership qualities and ability to drive regional growth initiatives
