As an individual contributor in the Software Development/ Engineering field, your role at CGI will involve collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to execute the product roadmap effectively. Your responsibilities will include: - Actively participating in the development of business concepts and design reviews. - Staying updated on new developments in the domain and incorporating relevant advancements into the roadmap. - Driving and proposing solutions that enhance user experience in alignment with emerging market trends. - Providing practical solutions and guidance to address issues and queries from various stakeholders. Qualifications required for this role include: - Relevant certifications in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics are a plus. - Experience in customer support or a similar client-facing role (1-5 years). - Familiarity with at least one ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics). - Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving ERP-related issues. Technical skills that are necessary for this role: - Proficiency in using ERP software and understanding of its core modules (finance, HR, inventory, procurement, etc.). - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. - Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. - Database knowledge (e.g., SQL) for issue diagnosis. - Familiarity with cloud-based ERP platforms is increasingly important. Communication skills required: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients. - Ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely. - Active listening skills to understand client needs and respond appropriately. - Strong customer service skills focusing on building relationships and client satisfaction. Analytical and problem-solving skills needed for this role: - Ability to analyze user issues and identify root causes. - Strong troubleshooting skills for quick and effective resolutions. - Aptitude for understanding complex business processes and how ERP systems support them.
