Land Surveyor

Transmission Line Surveying

• Conduct detailed route surveys for transmission lines.
• Perform survey work checks and validations to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Property/Setting Out Work

• Carry out property setting (prop setting) and boundary demarcation work at project sites.
• Establish and mark control points, benchmarks, and reference lines for construction.

Survey Equipment Handling

• Operate and manage surveying instruments such as

  Total Station (TS) machine

  , GPS, and other conventional tools.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of instruments for accurate field measurements.

Design & Drafting

• Prepare survey profiles, alignment sheets, and related drawings in

  AutoCAD

  .
• Convert field data into digital formats and generate maps, layouts, and topographical details.

Data Collection & Reporting

• Record, analyze, and maintain accurate survey data.
• Provide survey reports, sketches, and documentation to the project team for planning and execution.

Coordination & Compliance

• Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure proper execution of survey-related tasks.
• Follow safety and quality standards at all times during field operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering / Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum [2 years] of experience in land and transmission line surveying.
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD

  and knowledge of GPS, Total Station, and other survey instruments.
• Strong understanding of topographic and engineering survey techniques.
• Ability to work in field/project locations under varying conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
