Lab Technician

Lab Management & Supervision Lead the foundry lab team and assign daily tasks. Maintain lab cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. Ensure calibration and maintenance of lab instruments. Metallurgical Testing Perform and supervise chemical analysis of raw materials and castings (e.g., spectrometer testing). Conduct microstructure analysis, hardness testing, and sand testing. Quality Assurance Support Provide metallurgical data for process improvement and rejection analysis. Ensure castings meet the required material specifications and customer standards. Assist in preparation and review of inspection reports and test certificates. Documentation & Reporting Maintain records of all tests and calibrations as per ISO/TS standards. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly lab reports. Support audits by maintaining traceability and proper documentation. New Material & Process Development Participate in R&D trials for new materials or process modifications. Validate chemical and mechanical properties of trial samples.
