L2 Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide

  L2 application support

  for enterprise applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues with minimal business impact
• Monitor application performance and system health
• Work closely with

  L1 support

  , development teams, and stakeholders
• Perform

  root cause analysis

  and implement permanent fixes
• Execute

  SQL queries

  for data analysis and issue diagnosis
• Maintain support documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
• Assist with application deployments and configuration changes
• Participate in

  24/7 on-call support rotation

• Communicate clearly with users regarding issue status and resolution

Technical Skills:

• Mainframe / COBOL (AS400) / Java / C++
• SQL & Database troubleshooting
• Object-Oriented Programming concepts
• Application support & incident handling

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of

  ITIL framework

• Experience with automation tools
• Background in financial or technology-driven environments
