Job Description

KYC/AML Assistant Vice President

Key Responsibilities

Team & Operations Management:
Act as the central point and coordinator for the Investor AML/CDD team.
Manage your team of Investor AML/CDD specialists day-to-day, including complex query and case handling.
Take responsibility for
staffing management, training, and development
.
Manage and monitor the timing and quality of deliverables (
SLAs
).
Leadership & Stakeholder Interaction:
Interact directly with senior management and clients.
Manage escalations in a timely manner, including liaising with local offices and/or clients.
Understand current client needs and strategies while also anticipating future needs.
Process Improvement:
Propose and develop department-wide
operational improvements
in consultation with the wider Investor AML/CDD team.

About You

Experience:
Extensive experience in a similar role with exposure to private equity and/or hedge funds and outsourcing.
Leadership:
Experience in managing a team.
Knowledge:
Excellent knowledge of
AML Regulations
, with expertise in Cayman and Singapore regulations being preferable.
Skills & Attributes:
Highly collaborative, innovative, and possessing excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Strong
customer relationship skills
.
Comprehensive knowledge of
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
.
Display an active interest in the financial markets, hedge fund, and private equity industries.
