The KYC Operations Func Group Mgr is a senior management-level position responsible for achieving results through the management of a team or department to provide Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting services in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The primary goal of this role is to lead the development and management of a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi. As a KYC Operations Func Group Manager at Citi, your responsibilities will include providing leadership and management of the Citi Know Your Client (KYC) function. You will lead the design and implementation of a global operational capacity and productivity framework to ensure an effective and sustainable end-to-end KYC process across the KYC Business Support Unit (BSU) and ensure global compliance with KYC standards. It will be essential to adapt to changes in the KYC client population, regulatory commitments, internal compliance commitments, etc., as appropriate. In this role, you will partner with global operational teams to set productivity targets at various levels and collaborate with Business and Compliance partners to extend the productivity model and measure to groups to ensure accurate reflection of end-to-end throughput. You will lead impact analysis assessment sessions related to technology change requirements, operational procedures and processes, Citi external clients, Business Risk and Controls, etc. Ensuring adequate capacity planning/workload prioritization across Regional BSU Hubs and Satellites relative to identified targets, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Regulatory commitments will be a key responsibility. It is crucial to appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, giving particular consideration to the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. This includes driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency. Additionally, effectively supervising the activity of others and creating accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards will be necessary. Qualifications for this role include 15+ years of experience and experience in people management. A Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience is required, while a Master's degree is preferred.
