Director, Head of Financial Reporting, Fund Services

The GPC Lead for Financial Reporting, Fund Services is a senior management position reporting directly to the Global Head of Financial Reporting, Fund Services with a matrix reporting line to local management. You will be responsible for overseeing the production of financial statements, tax and regulatory reporting, and associated workings for multiple offshore locations including North America, Ireland, Luxembourg, and the UK. The team currently consists of around 130 members with expected growth in the future. Your main responsibilities will include being the primary point of escalation for Financial Reporting for Fund Services, collaborating with onshore partners and the Global Head of Financial Reporting to optimize operating models, developing a strategic vision for the local teams, guiding the team through business and operational changes, setting and achieving annual goals aligned with the strategic vision, ensuring compliance with Citi Policies, monitoring service level standards, attending client meetings, overseeing regulatory and compliance matters, and managing risks effectively. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 15 years of relevant experience with 8-10 years of managerial experience. Ideal candidates will have a background in financial reporting, specifically from a Fund Services environment, and exposure to Fund Services Operations. You should possess strong operational process management skills, talent assessment capabilities, knowledge of the financial services industry and global financial markets, organizational and people management skills, and the ability to resolve operational issues and business trade-offs. Education requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with Chartered Accountancy qualifications and/or a Master's degree being preferred.
