KYC Operations Analyst 1

The KYC Operations Analyst 1 position at Citi involves participating in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting activities in collaboration with the Compliance and Control team. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the development and management of an internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi. You will work closely with Relationship Management and Compliance teams to support in the preparation, development, due diligence, and approval of electronic Know Your Client (KYC) records and associated appendices. This includes creating and updating KYC records by gathering information from various sources, such as the firm's website and regulatory websites. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating system information related to KYC records and reporting progress to your supervisor. It will be your duty to validate the information contained in KYC records and Customer Identification Program (CIP) documents to ensure accuracy and completion. You will also need to ensure that KYC records adhere to local regulatory requirements and Global Business Support Unit (BSU) Standards. Maintaining the BSU tool and appropriately assessing risks while making business decisions will be crucial aspects of your role, with a focus on upholding the firm's reputation and compliance with laws and regulations. Preferred qualifications for this role include previous relevant experience, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required for education.
