KYC Operations Analyst 1

As a KYC Operations Analyst 1 at Citi, your role will involve participating in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting activities. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the development and management of an internal KYC (Know Your Client) program. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Relationship Management and Compliance teams to assist in the preparation, development, due diligence, and approval of the electronic Know Your Client (KYC) record and supporting appendices. - Create and maintain KYC records by gathering information from internal and external sources such as the firm website and regulatory websites. - Update system information throughout the initiation to approval process of KYC records and communicate workflow progress to your supervisor in coordination with Relationship Management and Compliance teams. - Validate the information in KYC records and Customer Identification Program (CIP) documents to ensure accuracy and completion. - Ensure that KYC records comply with local regulatory requirements and Global Business Support Unit (BSU) Standards. - Manage the BSU tool to enhance the effectiveness of KYC operations. - Evaluate risks appropriately when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, rules, and regulations to protect Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
