Job Description

Primary Title: Kubernetes Administrator

Industry & Sector:

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps — Platform Engineering and Managed Container Orchestration services that operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters for enterprise applications. The role focuses on building reliable, secure, and scalable platform operations to accelerate developer delivery and ensure high-availability for critical workloads.

About The Opportunity

We are hiring an experienced Kubernetes Administrator to own cluster operations, automation, and platform reliability for on-premise and cloud environments. This on-site role in India is ideal for hands-on operators who enjoy system-level troubleshooting, infrastructure-as-code, and improving platform maturity across CI/CD, observability, and security.Role & Responsibilities

Operate and maintain production Kubernetes clusters (deployment, upgrades, scaling, and lifecycle management) to meet SLAs and uptime targets.
Design and implement infrastructure-as-code for cluster provisioning and platform components using Terraform, eksctl or kubeadm and Helm charts.
Manage container lifecycle, image registries, and integrate clusters with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Jenkins/GitLab).
Implement monitoring, logging and alerting stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Fluentd) and troubleshoot performance, networking, and storage issues.
Enforce platform security and compliance: RBAC, Network Policies, Pod Security Standards, secret management and image scanning.
Automate operational runbooks (backups, restore, cluster upgrades), perform capacity planning and document procedures to reduce MTTR.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Proven experience administering production Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/GKE or on-prem).
Strong container tooling experience including Docker and container registries.
Experience with Helm and authoring/maintaining Helm charts.
Hands-on with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or eksctl.
Experience implementing monitoring and observability using Prometheus and Grafana.
Solid Linux system administration and networking fundamentals (CNI, network policies, storage integration).

Preferred

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd and multi-cluster operations.
Exposure to GitOps, ArgoCD and advanced cluster security (image scanning, runtime security).
